Vauxhall is set to offer a quartet of new vehicles for those hoping to find a car by the time the next registration plates hit the market.

The most recent motors from the company to be launched will be the Corsa MCE, the Antara, the VXR8 and the Astra ES Tech, all of which offer a wealth of appeal to drivers.

For example, the new Corsa comes with some design enhancements to complement the chassis, as well as colour tones of Lime Green pearlescent, Guacamole and Chilli Orange metallic.

Meanwhile, the Astra ES Tech will be available to consumers with a choice of engine designs, including a 140PS 1.4-litre Turbo model and a 125PS 1.7 CDTi option.

Fresh styling to the interior and exterior is one of the striking elements of the Antara SAV, while the powerful VXR8 comes packed with 431PS to entertain those hoping to find a new car.

Recently, Vauxhall has been celebrating after it bagged sponsorship deals with the football associations of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.

Find a new BMW electric car at the Geneva Motor Show

Motorists hoping to find a new car that offers a greener driving experience may want to check out an upcoming BMW vehicle.

The BMW ActiveE makes its world premier at the Geneva Motor Show next month and is the company's second electric test car.

Based on the concept of the popular BMW 1 Series Coupe, the vehicle is designed with four seats and a luggage compartment packing 200 litres of space.

"The BMW ActiveE is the first electric vehicle from the BMW Group to combine the space and comfort of a traditionally powered BMW with a fully electric drivetrain," the brand stated.

Other attractive features which could appeal to those hoping to find a car include nought to 60mph in nine seconds, as well as 168bhp and maximum torque 250Nm.

The electrical motor by BMW will be joined at the Geneva Motor Show by many new cars from various manufacturers between the dates of March 3rd and 13th.

Drivers will be able to find a new Mercedes-Benz when a vehicle from the brand is unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show at the beginning of March.

The automaker has revealed details of its new C-Class Coupe, which is a sporty, two-door design that opens up a new market segment for the brand.

Customers who want to find a car and like the look of the new Mercedes model will be able to get behind the wheel from June.

Dr Joachim Schmidt, head of sales and marketing at Mercedes-Benz Cars, commented: "The new model is youthful, stylish and dynamic. What we are offering is an exceptionally sporty way to enter the world of the Mercedes-Benz coupe."

As well as its appearance, motorists may also be swayed by its environmental credentials. The new C-Class Coupe will be fitted with ECO start/stop technology as standard and, depending on the engine specifications chosen, the car can have CO2 emissions as low as 117g/km.

Kia, Mazda and BMW will be among the other automakers unveiling new cars or concept vehicles at the Geneva Motor Show next month.

Find a new Ford Focus after it is given first public airing

Those looking to find a new Ford Focus will be able to see the car in the flesh for the first time when it goes on show in Essex next week.

It will be parked up at the Lakeside, in its Debenhams flagship store for four days from February 17th.

The viewing opportunity comes just two weeks before the vehicle goes on sale in the UK on March 1st, which coincides with the new 11 registration plates.

Jon Wellsman, Ford Britain sales director, said: "UK motorists are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new Ford Focus, replacing the model which was top selling car for ten years. Essex is the Ford brand's spiritual home, so putting our newest car on display to Lakeside shoppers will please our local Ford fans."

Recently, it was revealed that the new Ford Focus cars are on their way to Britain from the Saarlouis manufacturing plant in Germany.

Motorists who are looking to find a new car have been told that they can save money by avoiding motorway service stations.

Research from What Car? found one outlet was charging consumers a 91 per cent mark-up over its high-street stores for a 750ml bottle of water.

Furthermore, the figures revealed that Marks and Spencer priced a large sausage roll 15 per cent more at a motorway service station than it did in its regular stores.

Steve Fowler, editor-in-chief of What Car?, said: "It is unforgiveable for retailers to take advantage of motorists in such a brazen manner. With fuel prices at an all-time high, the 5.2 per cent average motorway fuel mark-up is hard for consumers to fund, and a 91 per cent mark-up on a bottle of water is utterly unacceptable."

Motorists are already looking at all-time high prices at the petrol pumps, and the government is planning to increase fuel duty by as much as 5p per litre in April.

Motorists will soon be able to get their hands on the new Antara, helping them to find a new Vauxhall.

It features a refreshed exterior design, new engines to choose from, revised chassis settings and an upgraded interior.

An all-wheel drive system with variable power distribution will combine the advantages of front-wheel drive with the traction benefits of the latest vehicles.

All 2011 Antara models will come as standard with an electric parking brake which ensures an easy drive away on steep gradients, while safety is boosted through deactivation of front and side airbags on the front passenger side when a child safety seat is in operation.

New Ford Car to be unveiled during Geneva Motor Show

Those looking to find a new Ford will have an extra vehicle to choose from after the firm takes to the stage at the Geneva Motor Show.

Chairman and chief executive officer of Ford of Europe Stephen T Odell will reveal a "groundbreaking all-new vehicle" during a news conference on March 1st.

Furthermore, key news about upcoming Ford-exclusive customer-friendly technologies will also be unveiled at the event.

"Today Ford has its strongest product line-up ever and we’ve got an aggressive plan to keep our vehicle portfolio the freshest in the industry. We have at least 20 new models and derivatives coming across our entire European range – from small cars to commercial vehicles – and at Geneva we will be introducing some of these," said Mr Odell.

Other firms showing off new machinery at the Geneva Motor Show include BMW and Volkswagen, with the latter rumoured to be bringing out a new Tiguan.

The latest Peugeot 308 is scheduled to arrive in May and is set to boost those looking to find a new car.

It will feature a new micro-hybrid e-HDi which reduces CO2 emissions to 98 g/km, while latest generation Euro 5 VTi, THP petrol and HDi diesel engines will be available.

Four models are going to be released, including the Access, SR, Active and Allure, with three body styles, namely Hatchback, CC and SW, also being available to customers.

The latest LED headlamps and running lights will give the vehicle a modern look, while updated technology on the interior, such as Stop/Start technology is included.

Find a new Ford Focus: Model is on its way to dealerships

Motorists looking to find a new Ford Focus might soon be in luck as the first consignment of 2,500 vehicles is on its way to dealerships around the UK.

Shipments leaving the Saarlouis plant in Germany have been arriving on these shores at a rate of 1,000 cars a day, with this number being increased to 1,450-per-day later this month.

Horst Ritze, Ford's material planning and logistics manager, said: "Now that the first all-new Focus models have left the Saarlouis plant on schedule and with the highest levels of quality, deliveries to the wider European market will soar. We currently have 12,000 cars in the pipeline for release to markets across Europe."

Roelant de Waard, European vice president of marketing, sales and service, added that a "very strong demand" has been built up for the new Focus since it was unveiled.

The new model will feature Control Blade independent rear suspension and a FordPower Starter button.

Find a used car and look out for costly potholes

Motorists who find a used car need to be aware of the damage and subsequent cost potholes can cause.

TyreSafe said that hitting one of these holes in the road can cause internal tyre damage, resulting in sidewall bulges or cuts to the rubber.

Stuart Jackson, chairman of the firm, said that it is important for drivers to make sure that their wheels are inflated to the right level to reduce any potential damage.

"If they do suffer the misfortune of hitting a pothole, drivers should make sure both their wheels and tyres are thoroughly inspected by a professional for signs of damage. This may occur in the form of cuts or bulges in the tyre or, as we have seen increasing cases of, hairline fractures appearing in alloy wheels," he added.

Recently, More Than found that 72 per cent of motorists have been affected by potholes during the past 12 months.
